While several other devices have address books (including your mobile phone), we have worked hard to make Amida's Address Book more useful.
Some of its special features are:
- Thousands of Contacts: Amida's Address Book allows you to store a virtually unlimited number of contacts, so everyone from kindergarten friends to restaurants to office colleagues can be at one place
- Doodle n' Mail: As with all other Amida features, you can doodle n' mail Address Book too. Let us say a close friend of yours is hosting a party and has requested you to guide all other invitees to the venue. You could type out his address (using the on-screen keyboard), and draw a map with directions. You can then email this page across to everyone
- Dates: Address Book allows you to store birthdays and anniversaries of your contacts. May be, you would want to send them personalized e-cards made of Amida's Paper?
- Preferred method of contact: You can also mark how a person likes to be contacted - email, work phone, home phone or mobile: a feature especially useful if you have a large number of casual acquaintances
- Quick Search: Address Book also has a "Lookup" option which will help you get to the contact you want, real fast: invaluable if you have a large number of contacts
